Duct to Duct Joint Systems

Duct to Duct Joint

A duct-to-duct joint refers to the connection between two sections of ductwork within an HVAC system. Properly sealing these joints is essential to prevent air leakage, maintain system efficiency, and ensure indoor air quality.

Joint Types
Slip Joints — Sections of duct that slide into each other.
Flanged Joints — Sections with flanges that are bolted or screwed together.
S-Lock Joints — Interlocking edges that create a tight seal when pressed together.
Snap-Lock Joints — Sections with snap-in connectors that lock together.
TDC/TDF Joints — Interlocking flanges with integral gaskets for airtight connections.

Pre-Insulated Double Walled Spiral Round & Flat Oval Ducts and Fittings

Fiberglass Wool/Mineral Wool used as insulating material, sandwiched between outer and inner ducts.
Thermal Insulated: outer Spiral Duct + 25/50mm thick wool + inner protective metal liner.
Acoustic Insulated: outer Spiral Duct + insulating material + internal Perforated or Plain Duct.

Pre-Insulated Single Walled Spiral Round & Flat Oval Ducts and Fittings

Closed Cell/Open Cell Elastomeric Foam (Nitrile Rubber) or Cross-Linked Polyolefin Foam (Thermobreak).
Insulating material can be applied to the inner or outer surface as needed.
Available in Plain Form or Aluminum Clad.

Additional Services

We offer Spray Painted/Powder Coated ducts and fittings. Grill cutting and fixing can be done at the factory.
